There is a working bee and afternoon tea every Thursday (weather permitting) 2 pm – 4 pm. Tools provided. Bring own gloves (and favourite tools if preferred).
If you are a member ($2 Individual or $5 Family) you can get their newsletter either e-mailed or posted. The garden is open to all at all times and people are allowed to pick the fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers….so long as they “leave some for others”.

Lyttelton Community Garden

Location: 54a Oxford Street, behind the pool in Lyttelton

Time: Gardening session from 10am to 12:30 on Wednesdays followed by a shared meal

Okeover Community Garden

Location: Beside Okeover Stream, on path between Ilam Road and Engineering Road, University of Canterbury.

Open to the whole community, Fridays 2-5pm
