What: Car Boot Sale Market

Info: Event happens if weather permits. Sites available to casual sellers, just turn up and you will be directed to a site. Sell those surplus items from around home, clean out the kid’s room, garage, cupboards and have a fun time doing it. Got pot plants you don’t want, or surplus bedding plants and veggie plants? Bring them along and sell them too. Stalls selling good used and new clothes both children’s and adults, jewellery new and antique, collectable china and ornaments, games, books, toys, small household appliances, cycles, surplus home grown fruit and veges when available. Info: Laughter Yoga employs no humour, jokes or comedy and participants are invited to laugh for no reason at all. Anyone can do it. Laughter is a form of exercise. Info: This event happens once each month (on the first Sunday) and is designed to offer kids aged 2-12 years the basics of the game of golf… Not only do we have coaching, but afterwards we encourage the kids to go and play on the 4-hole KIDS-ONLY Golf Course! What: California Youth Symphony

Where: Middleton Grange Performing Arts Centre

Info: The California Youth Symphony is undoubtedly one of the finest youth orchestras in the world. They have been touring internationally for 20 years and New Zealand is the destination for 2012! Be delighted and inspired by this one hundred piece Symphony when they tour New Zealand in June-July this year.

Maestro Leo Eylar is the spirited conductor at the helm and when he takes the podium in July it will be nothing short of spectacular! This concert in their schedule is extra special as they are performing in collaboration with the Christchurch Youth Orchestra led by the talented Maestro Disomma. Admission is free however in raising money for the Christchurch Earthquake appeal we do ask for a gold coin donation. Come along and enjoy the talent and energy that is the California Youth Symphony and the Christchurch Youth Orchestra. This is a free event.
