Touring Info: “Take a fascinating 90-minute walking tour of the Gardens with an expert guide. All tours start at 1.30pm daily from mid-
September to mid-May. Meet outside the Gardens’ entrance by the Canterbury Museum. Group tours by arrangement all year, please phone (03) 384 3475 to arrange.”

and “A continuous guided tour of the gardens from 10am to 4pm aboard electric shuttles. Winter hours 11am to 3pm. Tickets available on board or at www.gardentours.co.nz”

The Armagh Street Carpark is open from 7am to 6:30pm and there is a playground very close to that carpark. Toilets are open. The café and some of the buildings are currently closed from the earthquakes.
