Queenspark playgroup. Mondays 915-1115 excluding public holidays $2 per family. Bring morning tea. At Baptist Church queenspark drive. 

Landsdowne Terrace Playgroup. 4 Landsdowne Terrace, Cashmere (off Centaurus road at the Community Centre). Held every Tuesday morning in school term from 9am – 11:30am. $3 per family.  Brilliant outdoor and indoor facilities. 

Waltham Playgroup. Run out of Waltham Primary School in the hall Tues mornings 9 – 12. Huge warm area with fun stations to explore. Homemade baking and fruit for morning tea and special treats and coffee/teas/hot choc for the caregivers.

 

Hornby under 5’s playgroup, 9.30 – 11.30am on Tuesdays at Hope Presbyterian 27 Amyes Road

 

Waka iti Playgroup. Preschool Teacher coordinated. $1 per child. Tuesdays 9.30am -11.30am. Kaiapoi Baptist, 67 Fuller St. Morning Tea provided for adults. Ph 327-8347/027 5958739

 

Parklands move and groove. Parklands baptist church, two sessions Tuesday 9.30 and 10.30 with mt in between sessions. $2

 

Thursdays at Papanui Baptist Church, 10am $3, first 3 sessions free, all ages

 

Footsteps Playgroup, young Mums and there infants/ toddlers. Every Friday 10.30-12.00pm at Waipuna, 349 Woodham Road. FB page- Footsteps Education-Canterbury/Upper South Island.

 

Linwood Playcentre 9-1 Monday to Friday’s at 628 Worcester Street. First few visits free, fees $40 a term for one session or five or covered by winz childcare subsidy. Meets winz social obligations for ece, plus stay and play or a weekly drop off for older children, trips etc. Free adult education through Canterbury Playcentre, play workshops etc.. Parklands playgroup Fridays 930 to 1130 school term only$3 per family morning tea included. In community Centre opposite fresh choice on Queens park drive

 

Mainly Music in Kaiapoi. $3 per family.  Preschoolers Music Time, Morning Tea for all and play. Kaiapoi Baptist Church, 67 Fuller St Ph 327 8347 (call for day)

    Tuesdays 10.00am – 12.00pm and Wednesdays 9.30 – 11.30am (except public holidays)
    For families with children age 0 – 6 years. A great way to meet other families in the community. Toys and activities for children and a friendly cuppa and chat for parents. Gold coin donation appreciated.

      I will be up in Christchurch to look after my grandchildren for the week of May 25th and was wondering how far from Somerfield you are,if I could bring the youngest boy to have a play.

    Women’s cafe and playgroup on Wednesday every fortnight. Next one is on may the 13th at 10am-11.30am. Hope Presbyterian Church 27 Aymes Rd Hornby. Free cakes and coffees for the ladies and free snacks for the kids.

    Selwyn Outdoor Playgroup.
    Every Thursday 10am, fortnightly at Hororata Domain, alternate weeks exploring a variety of outdoor kid friendly locations around the Malvern area.
    Very low key, a small group of friendly mums, who relax and enjoy their wee folk playing together outside.
    We proceed in any weather unless dangerous, we just dress really warmly some days.
    No cost, bring your own morning tea.

    Diamond Harbour Playcentre- open Monday and Wednesday 9-12 pm, accepting 20 hours ECE. $35 per term per family. A short walk up from the ferry! Free adult education, great free play for your children and great suppport and friendships for the parents and whanau.
