Harbour Harvest Festival

28th March  // 10am // Lyttelton

Join us in Lyttelton for a day of harvest festivities: demonstrations and tastings at the Lyttelton Farmers Market 10am – 1pm; foraging tour; locally grown dinner at Albion square with Giulio Sturla from Roots Restaurant. The Harbour Harvest Festival is the stepping-off point for a year-long project in which locals are encouraged to collectively grow all the ingredients for a “community grown” dinner at next year’s festival. Encouraging learning and reflection on food resilience and our local resources, this project aims to reach further than our taste-buds and tummies. For more information, contact Project Lyttelton on 03 328 9243 or Facebook Event: Click here

Due to overwhelming demand, we are pleased to announce a second open day and tour of the Isaac Theatre Royal. This time, thanks to Showbiz Christchurch, you will also have the opportunity to see the full Phantom of the Opera set up close. Come and see the theatre and take part in this extra special Restoration Celebration Tour. With Newstalk ZB broadcasting live from the theatre and the chance to see the theatre in full production mode, this is a unique opportunity not to be missed! A suggested donation of $5 or more to the theatre’s fundraising campaign will go toward securing the future of the theatre. Doors open at 9:00am and tours will continue throughout the morning until midday. Make your donation on the door.
