Laurie was well known locally as “King Santa” a role which spanned some 56 years, with him bringing joy to many hospital patients, playcentres and other community charities, including 16 years in the Christchurch Santa Parade. To enter this competition, count the Santa’s you find, fill in an entry form and post it in the box provided in the Museum foyer.
