A good-old fashioned fair with: Cake Stall, Tearooms, Mystery bottles, Mechanical Surfboard, Climbing Wall, Chocolate Wheel, Craft stalls, Mini Jeeps, Vintage Cars and more. Fore more info go to the school’s website. Free entry, bring cash for purchases and rides. 

 

Fun Fair

22nd November // 11-3pm  // St Mary’s Church Square, Poulson St, Addington

The Addington Fun Fair features home-made carnival games, pony rides, a bouncy castle, races, Devonshire Teas, ethnic food, gelato and more will fill the tree-filled square. 35+ stalls will include baking, local community groups, white elephant, books, crafts and more. A much -loved part of the fair is the concert featuring this year, Nakey, Ben Eldridge, the Addington Choir singers and more. Homemade carnival games are always a delightful part of this fair: the Great Sheep Catapult, Giraffe stacker and more will be present. This year as well, Wateratz will make an appearance – giant inflatable, clear orbs floating on water for kids to play inside. The rain day is Sunday 23 November from 12pm – 4pm to accommodate church services. Stall enquiries to: shauna.robins@gmail.com

 

St Martins School Summer Fiesta

Come along to the St Martins School Summer Fiesta and enjoy bouncy castles, pony rides, home baking,  toffee apples, Devonshire teas, face painting, hairbraiding, stage entertainment …. not to mention all glorious food – curries, sushi, bacon butties. Or you can pick up a Christmas gift or three, plants for your garden, browse through pre-loved book and white elephant!

 

St Albans School – Monster Fair

The Monster Fair is St Albans School major fundraiser, held every two years. Whilst it is a fundraiser, a key aim of the fair is to create a really fun afternoon for the whole community. The funds raised will go towards the school’s redevelopment of library spaces and school community hub. Fun, food and festivities. Facebook Event Page

 

Summer of Fun – Aranui Family Fun Day

Family games, face painting, bouncy castles, swap stalls (bring your books and toys to swap!) and a BBQ – a fun event for everyone to enjoy! The Summer of Fun events will be happening across Greater Christchurch throughout the summer. They are funded by the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal Trust (CEAT).

 

Summer of Fun – Beckenham Christmas Craft Fair & Fun Day

Come along! Make some homemade Christmas crafts for yourself or someone else and enjoy a day out with the family. Lots of fun free activities!

 

City Discovery Day

23rd November // 10-2pm  // Central City

Find out about our ever evolving city centre and join in the free and fun activities for the family on City Discovery Day.

Start your journey by heading to the Future Christchurch Visionarium opposite the Margaret Mahy Family Playground site (on the corner of Madras and Armagh Streets) to pick up a specially designed map. The map has points of interest marked out so you can create your self-guided tour in your own time.

While you make your way around the city become a city detective by playing City Quest. This will send you on a search for clues to a quiz – with fantastic prizes to be won! There’s something to entertain everyone, from the oldest to the youngest family member. There will be displays to inform and entertain, food stalls, a free bouncy castle, face painting, and sausage sizzle.

 

Jellie Park Season Opener
