Last 2 days – The Great Museum Santa Search!

4th & 5th January 2014 // 9:00am to 5:30pm
Canterbury Museum

Bring your family and join the fun searching high and low for our hidden Santas. If you help us find ALL our missing Santas you could win a fantastic prize. All you need to do is count the total number of toy Santas you see on the back of the entry form – available at Canterbury Museum. To help you get started, there are some clues on the back of the entry form and also a guide to help you keep track of those hidden Santas. Official Website

 

Ingham Lazy Sundays – The Johnnys

The Johnnys have forged themselves a reputation across continents, performing Johnny Cash songs like no one has heard them before, without even a whisper of baritone on stage. Live at the Point

Diamond Harbour Presents – Live at the Point Music each Sunday on the grounds of Godley House (Rugby Clubrooms if wet) 1-4pm.  The series was set up three years ago to provide locals and visitors a place to come and listen to some great music after the beautiful Godley House fell in the Canterbury earthquakes. Set in the grounds of the old homestead overlooking Lyttelton Harbour, the venue is perfect for a sunny Sunday afternoon picnic with friends and family and great local music. Take a cruise on the ferry from Lyttelton or a stunning car trip out to Diamond Harbour to hear music each Sunday from Dec 29 2013 right through to February 23rd 2014. Caroline Bay Carnival

Christmas Carnival

It’s what you have been waiting for Christchurch we are bringing all of our rides and games down to the pier these holidays its going to be real big fun so start planning your day now and we will see you down there.

 

Fruit and Berry Fest

11th January // 10am – 1pm
On Green beside Hillyers Cafe, Gerald St. Lincoln

Come and enjoy a day out in the picturesque township of Lincoln and sample an array of sweet and succulent summer fruits at Lincoln Farmers’ and Craft Market’s very popular annual Fruit and Berry Fest. A wide selection of fruits will be on offer including blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, apricots …. direct from local growers. PLUS lots of local produce, craft and food stalls topped off by live music from local Nicos Tescos and The Wombats who will get your feet tapping with some classic rock and Greek music.
