Fairyland, Crafts, Music, Games, Books, Clothes, Flowers, Plants, Organic Food and much more! Come along for a great day of family fun together and enjoy all that we have to offer.

 

Aidenfield Christian School Fair

9 November // 10am – 2pm
2 Nash Rd, Halswell

Something for everyone – silent auction, white elephant stall, books, plants and pre-loved clothes, games and rides for the kids including WaterWalkers, stalls, great food and live entertainment. Held on the school grounds – rain or shine!

 

Tai Tapu Village Fair

9 November // 10am – 2pm
Tai Tapu Scout Den, State Highway 75

The fair is in the grounds of the Tai Tapu Scout Den. Stalls are mainly locally made crafts, food, products & a raffle. Includes a bouncy castle, car wash, sausage sizzle, face painting. Involves many from the community including scouts, keas, playcentre.

 

Cashmere Kindergarten Spring Fair

9 November // 10am – 1pm
106 Hackthorne Road, Cashmere, Christchurch

There will be a bouncy castle, donkey rides, tombola, white elephant stall, silent auction, face painting, sausage sizzle, sweet & cake stall, coffee van, devonshire tea, sandpit treasure hunt, kids quality pre-loved clothing stall, splatter art, yummy food, and loads of fun!

 

Not Just Babies Market

9 November // 9am – 12pm
Christchurch Park, 250 Westminster St, Mairehau

Not Just Babies Market showcasing great Canterbury and New Zealand small businesses. A selection of end of line, seconds and sale products for babies, infants, toddlers, children and mums. St Albans School Market Day

St Albans School, Sheppard Place

Come along to Market Day between 11am and 1pm. A large variety of stalls selling crafts, food, books etc. Bring cash and a plastic bag for your goodies. More info on website.

 

Motukarara Fireworks

9 November // 5:30 – 9:30pm
Motukarara Domain, Park Road, Motukarara, Banks Peninsula

Gates will open at 5:30pm and the display will be at approximately 9pm. Live music, lolly scramble, bouncy castle, pony rides, sausage/bacon sizzle, espresso coffee, cold drinks and ice cream, hotdogs and chips, candy floss, free hay rides. Chinese Festival

9 November // 6:50 – 9:30pm
Aurora Centre, Cnr Greers Rd & Memorial Ave, Burnside

These activities use photos, poetry, song, dance, musical instruments, VCR, and film etc., comprehensive display of China’s brilliant culture of excellence, allowing local people and the audience is more intuitive, truly understand China and Chinese culture, let all the participants to enjoy the festival. New Zealand Cup and Show Week 2013

Friday 8th–Saturday 16th November

New Zealand’s most vibrant and exciting spring festival, New Zealand Cup and Show Week, kicks off on Friday 8 November 2013. Christchurch is vibrant with entertainment and things to do throughout the city. So there is plenty to do after race or show action is over for the day.

This year’s festival is all about celebrating the thrill of a win, a night out with friends, getting a taste of rural life at the show, a chance to dress to the nines, to experience our region’s excellent food and wine and to come together and have some fun.

Whether you are looking for race or show action, or you just want to enjoy all that Christchurch and the Canterbury region has to offer. New Zealand Cup and Show Week is a must do on your social calendar!

 

Canterbury A & P Show

13-15 November // 8am – 5:30pm
Canterbury Agricultural Park, Wigram Rd

See the very best of rural life with three full days of livestock and equestrian judging, plenty of entertainment and attractions, indoor and outdoor exhibits, plus excellent food and wine. Homebush Stables Family Day

Homebush Canterbury

Homebush Stables Family Day is a fun event for families.  The museum, cafe, shop will all be open with garden walks and history talks.  Special children actitives are planned including pony rides, teddy bears picnic. story teller and French skipping. It’s Santa Season

Westfield Riccarton, 129 Riccarton Rd

He wears a bright red outfit with a fluffy white trimming, has a big white beard and is best friends with Rudolph – any guesses on who is heading to Westfield Riccarton soon? Head down to Westfield Riccarton to share with Santa what’s on your Christmas list this year! On Sunday 17 November Santa and his special friends will be arriving from the North Pole. Enjoy free entertainment at Westfield Riccarton’s Centre Court with jugglers, balloon artists and Westfield’s Monty the Monkey putting on a show for the entire family to enjoy! Santa will arrive at 1pm to listen to everyone’s wishes and have his photo taken from Sunday 17 November until Christmas Eve.
