Fly Me Up to Where You are (Arts Festival)

22nd August – 22nd September // Worcester Boulevard, Entrance to Christchurch City Council

Fly Me Up To Where You Are begins with Christchurch’s children and culminates in the heart of our city in a riot of colour. Artist Tiffany Singh explores the power of
art to build a community. In this very special project, each child will create a flag expressing their personal hopes and dreams and a flag expressing their hopes and dreams for the city of Christchurch. Come, with family and friends, and contemplate under this canopy of dreams, made by the children of Christchurch.

Sold out in 2011, we loved BabyO so much that we’re bringing it back for 2013. Tailored for babies aged six to 18 months, the show creates an interactive environment for babies and their carers in a secret garden full of ducks, fish and busy bees. Seamlessly combining recorded music with live singing, using sounds and words that babies can understand, BabyO features three fine singers from Scottish Opera.  A sensory experience that captures the imagination of babies and adults alike.
