Come for a morning of fun, play, craft and parent support. 30 minute music session. Morning tea is provided. There are no rosters or duties. Play group session run by two early childhood educators. Parents are welcome to stay or able to leave their toddlers there after a few settling in sessions. There is a large play area, with lots of various toys and activites that are set up for each session. Different activites are planned for each session ie/today they did water play, they often do music, play dough, painting etc. Activites seem to be based around what the kids are interested in. Knit ‘n’ Stitch Group meets at Upper Riccarton Library every Tuesday from 1-2pm in the Red Cafe Lounge area. Learn how to knit & crochet, or bring along any handcraft project you are already working on. Some wool, crochet hooks and knitting needles available to get you started.
